Female Personal Trainer

Located in Mississauga, Kristen has always been an active person straight from childhood. Sports and activity were always something she was involved in. In 2006 she began her personal training journey at the University of Guelph Athletic Centre by obtaining a Weight Training Certification and then on to complete her CanFitPro Personal Trainer Specialist Certification in 2007.

Kristen went on to graduate from the University of Guelph with a Bachelors Degree in Science in 2008. In 2009 Kristen completed a thorough line of Twist Sport Conditioning Coach certifications involving a wide range of areas such as Sport Balance, Sport Strength, Sport Movement, Sport Core, Agility, Quickness and Reactivity. In 2012 Kristen attended the National Personal Training Institute of Orlando, Florida in order to obtain another Personal Training certification. This program consisted of 500 hours of theory and practice of personal training including nutrition and anatomy.

Kristen also loves children and has been involved with kids activity programs for a number of years, most recently the last 2 years as a bantam and atom division coach for the Welland Minor Basketball association of Niagara.

Kristen’s philosophy is to instil the love of movement and activity as an overall lifestyle and not a momentary phase of life. Her main focus is to put a smile on the face of every client and make sure every client is excited for our sessions each and every week.

About Me:

After finishing high school I decided that it was to time to take action and make a change. The first step was to get control of my health, fitness, and physical appearance. Fast forward 8 years later, and this ONE decision lead to me becoming a Kinesiologist & Exercise Physiologist. I‘ve applied what I’ve learned with hundreds of seniors in both group classes and one-to-one, along with athletes and the general population. My mission is to use what I’ve learned and practiced over these years to help you to help yourself, achieve a healthier
lifestyle.

With guidance, support and a plan, I believe that anyone can achieve a state of good health and well-being. Having done it myself and having helped others, I know that everyone is capable of reaching their health goals. Whatever those goals may be; creating good habits will be the biggest step you can take, and together we’ll build and refine those habits.
